Welcome new joiners!! You are all more than welcome to come and join the Edgbaston Kestrels we provide a safe and fun environment where young players from the age of 4 to 16 (School year reception and up!) can learn and enjoy hockey.

All our sessions are open to beginners, so no matter the age you are more than welcome to begin your hockey adventure! All that is required is the enthusiasm to want to get active and find out about hockey. Anyone can come along and join in a few taster sessions before deciding whether hockey and Edgbaston Kestrels is right for them and we can often provide hockey sticks for trial sessions which will be disinfected in line with hygiene guidance. Don’t forget your shin pads and mouth guard, you will not be allowed to train or play without them.
Our sessions are all mixed and structured as:U8s - Year 3 and below (9.30-10.30),
U10s - Year 4&5 - (9.30-10.45),
U12s - Year 6&7 - (10.30-12:15),
Badgers - Year 8 & above - (11.30-13.00).  

Timings for 2020/21:
1st term: 13th September through to 13th December (with the 25th October off for half term)
2nd term: 10th January through to 20nd March (with the 14th February off for half term).

Subscriptions are a one off payment of £65 (under 8s) and £90 (under 10s, 12s, badgers)
